Services and Usage Information

The staff of the SHHS Library Learning Commons is here to serve the educational and informational needs of all Spring Hill High School students, faculty, staff and administrators. We hope to partner with you in providing for your instructional goals and in providing a safe and inviting learning environment for our students.

Our plans for success include the following services and guidelines.

STUDENTS:
Library Use

Students are encouraged to visit the library as often as they need to before and after school and during school hours. During class time, visits should only be for the purpose of printing, working on school projects, and/or returning/renewing/checking out library books. Each student visiting independently should have one of the pink library passes signed by the classroom teacher.

Students may log into Destiny Discover (through Classlink) and place a hold in advance. Students should check their D5 Gmail inbox, as an email will be sent when any holds are ready for pickup.

Chromebook Repairs

Staff is available to assist students with Chromebook issues (damage or malfunctioning device, wifi or Google errors) and will assign loaner Chromebooks only in the event troubleshooting does not resolve the issue. Loaner Chromebooks will only be available for long-term repair tickets.
